Shottle Hall wedding photographer.  I was super excited that Louise had chosen myself to capture here wedding at Shottle Hall, in the beautiful countryside of Derbyshire. The wedding date was set for 3rd of July 2016 which fell on a Sunday.  Louise was preparing herself for the big day ahead at the venue.  With the wedding ceremony due to commence at 3pm, I arrived at 1.30pm.  Allowing myself plenty of opportunity to capture some of the surroundings to use as backing photos.  I would use these when designing the final wedding album.

James arrived with his best men, yes men, Tim and Nick.  We went for a walk into the courtyard seizing this time to shoot a few photos before the ceremony. Louise, looking gorgeous, was accompanied down the aisle, arm in arm with her dad, Steve.  Looking like he the proud dad he was, getting ready to give her away.  As they made their way down the captivating sound of  a harp being played in the background could be heard.

Once the ceremony had concluded, we managed to direct the guests into a heart shape for a photo.  Louise had suggested in our pre wedding shoot at my studio that she would like me to attempt this after seeing in on my website. The newly weds had invited thirty guests to their happy day,  which allowed us plenty of time to go for a relaxed photo stroll around the stunning grounds of Shottle Hall.

Speeches came after the tasty three course wedding breakfast.  Guests were kept entertained by a magician.

My last part of the night was to catch the 1st dance.  Rod Stewart, Have I told you lately.  I made my way home as the Louise and James carried on the celebrations with their friends and family.

I love photographing at Shottle Hall as the staff are always so helpful and polite, the food is amazing, which always goes down well with me!  Best of all the venue allows me to take the couple off and explore new places to go on little photo walks.
